Troubleshooting Connection

Our devices are designed to be simple and reliable. Most of the time they just work. But if something goes wrong, we're here to help.

This page lists the most common WiFi issue we see, and how to fix it.

Problem:

I enter my WiFi details, but the device restarts and goes back into setup mode.

This means the device couldn't connect to your WiFi. Try these steps, starting from the top:

  1. Check your WiFi name and password.

It’s easy to make a small mistake—this is the most common issue we see.

  2. Move the device closer to your WiFi router.

WiFi signals don’t always reach every spot. Try setting it up nearer to the router.

  3. Try using a different phone, tablet, or computer to do the setup.

Sometimes one device’s browser doesn’t work well with the setup page.

  4. Check your WiFi settings:

    • The device only works with 2.4 GHz WiFi, not 5 GHz.

    • If possible, set up a guest network that is 2.4 GHz only. It can make things easier.
