What’s a Clock Driver?

Without a driver, most antique and vintage electric clocks won’t run at all - many were designed to rely on a centralised impulse signal that no longer exists. The VEEB Clock Driver restores that missing signal, giving the clock a new lease of life.

The driver allows the clock to display internet-accurate time while keeping its original mechanism untouched. This precision-engineered enhancement seamlessly integrates with your timepiece, ensuring the clock remains both historically authentic and perfectly synchronised.

Powered using the included USB cable, the driver connects to an internet time server, automatically synchronising your clock to the correct time—wherever you are in the world.

Pairing the Clock Driver to WiFi

Setting up your VEEB Clock Driver is quick and easy—simply use your smartphone to connect it to WiFi in a few simple steps.

Electric clocks traditionally rely on a steady pulse signal from a central ‘mother clock’ to maintain accurate timekeeping. Without this pulse, they stop functioning properly. Our USB-powered device replicates this signal, allowing these clocks to operate independently while staying perfectly synchronized.

Once powered on, the driver automatically connects to an internet time server—first at setup and then nightly—ensuring your clock remains accurate and seamlessly adjusts for daylight saving time.
