Clock Driver Upgraded: USB-C Power and Tool-Free Terminals
The latest VEEB clock driver has been quietly upgraded. Same job (breathing life back into old industrial clocks), but now smaller, smarter, and considerably better looking.
The headline change? We've ditched micro USB in favour of USB-C for power. It's a small swap that makes a real difference:
More durable. The connector holds up to years of plugging and unplugging
Easier to use. No more flipping the cable three times to find the right orientation
More powerful. Capable of driving 50+ clocks, or a single massive one, from one compact unit without breaking a sweat (see video)
Future-proof. USB-C is fast becoming the universal standard, so it plays nicely with whatever cables you already have lying around
We've also added metal quick-release terminals, making wiring faster and tool-free. Push, insert the wire into the spring-loaded slot, done. No screwdriver, no fuss, no loose connections later.
These new drivers will be included free with all clocks sold in our store. They'll also be powering some exciting new projects we'll be sharing soon, so keep an eye out.
