The second hand borrows the best-known habit of the Swiss railway clock. It sweeps round slightly faster than it should, then waits at 12 before starting the next minute. On the station clocks, that pause is the hand waiting for the minute impulse from the master clock, so every clock on the network starts the minute together. It's the same kind of impulse our Clock Driver recreates for the restored clocks in this shop.
Open the file and it starts at midnight with a bare dial. The cable feeds out of the case, the date and day appear, then the hands wind round to the right time. After that it just tells the time. No app, no account, no notifications.

The day of the week appears in English by default. Add ?lang=de or ?lang=it to the file's address for German or Italian, or open the file and add a line of weekday names for any other language.
